Original Disappointed Parents Lineup

The band first started with practices in my garage in 1980 and the name of the band then was "Damaged Scum". The first incarnation was Dan Zimmer (guitar), Otto (bass), Ron Christ (vocals), and Brian Schexnaider (drums). After a short while we moved practices around, sometimes at my sister's garage in Old Metairie and even at the practice place of a band that John Swank was in. That place is the same building that houses the Balcony Bar, where sometime back, Otto and I met up with Earl" for the first time in years. My first project was however called "the Negatives", but nothing came of it.
